Prof. Pavlos Pavlou
Pavlos trained as an engineer in the UK and holds a PhD in management. He has more than twenty three years of experience in the areas of business development, organisational restructuring, quality management, and executive education.
He started his career in 1993 in quality management at a large acute NHS hospital in the UK. He later joined Pricewaterhouse's Public Sector Advisory Services in the UK where he was responsible for organisational restructuring and Governance improvement projects in the North West. He was also the president of the UK's foundation for quality management for public sector organisations.
In 2001 he joined KPMG in Cyprus its Advisory and Internal Audit services. He led on projects relating to enterprise risk management, corporate governance services and strategy reorganisations. His portfolio of clients included multinational companies in the technology, IT, energy and retail sectors as well as fiduciary and insurance services.
In 2006 he joined the University of Nicosia's, Cyprus, Business School where he lectured at the undergraduate and MBA levels. In 2007 he was appointed as the University’s Research Director. He was the founder of the University's Research Foundation and led on the creation of Academia to Business Liaison Networks in Cyprus.
In 2009 he was appointed as the Vice president for Enrollment and Development (in 2014) where he was responsible for international collaborations and strategic expansion.
